Progress With Unity Podcast #125: Brighton review, Wolves preview
You know that phrase, 'you're only as good as your last game'? Well, the PWU Podcast likes to take that in the most literal sense, booking the morgue when we've lost as opposed to ordering funfair tickets when we've won. And this week is no exception - even when staring relegation in its ugly, pimple-infested face, a first home win in eight months can make you invincible.
You're in for the ride now, dude... there *is* no turning back.

Progress With Unity Podcast #124: Fulham and Millwall reviews, Brighton preview
Who will win the relegation... well, you know? (c)Bill Nicholls
Well, Cald might have conquered the Kop, but the New Den proved a lot harder. With two red cards from two games, one might even dub him... Cardwell. What, you say the press beat me to it? Curses!
Mercifully, we're coming to the end of this season, and there's a certain amount of relief in the Book Cycle studios. Just think - in three short weeks you'll be toasting Dave Whelan at his celebratory dinner and you can forget all about Rosler, Coyle and their co-conspirators that 'got us into this fine mess'.
So cheer up, eh? One day they'll write a book about all this and you'll read it with a glow in your heart.

Progress With Unity Podcast #121: Bolton review, PWU Question Time
Puzzle: _a_c A_t___e ___t__e
Can I open my eyes now? Are we still in the race? Phew, I don't have to take this rattle and propel it from my perambulator to the duck pond. Although I kind of wish I did, because it would have made for good television.
Never mind, for this is a PWU Question Time special with comments and queries from all corners of the Laticsphere... wait, can spheres have corners? Hmm, I guess internet logic dictates so. Take that, Edward de Bono!

Progress With Unity Podcast #120: Rotherham and Watford reviews, Bolton preview
Hey look, actual football conversation! Under the microscope this week is everyone's favourite holding striker (well, maybe apart from the Hesk), the irascible Mr Marc-Antoine Fortune. Is he worth a fortune, or is he... fool's gold? See, I don't normally crowbar Barry's podcast titles into these posts but that was too good a pun to pass up.
And if you decide never to visit this site again, I do not blame you. Doubly so if Saturday's results are not favourable - it's the Last Last Last Resort. The Last Last Last Last Resort is coming up next week, so I recommend you hang around for that...

Say what you like about all the drama at Latics - it doesn't half make for an exciting podcast. And we'll be happy if PWU is half as interesting as the ongoing serial aired on Wigan Athletic TV, if those Paul Scharner out-takes are anything to go by! Happy Birthday, Paul.
Wait, another 'last stand' this week? At this rate we'll have more encores than that record stuck on loop in your local supermarket. But how long until the plastic is worn to a fine wafer? And when will someone get sick of hearing the same song and smash the player to bits with a Wigan Athletic inflatable hammer?

Progress With Unity Podcast #104: Fulham and Brighton reviews, Bolton preview
Aha, so *that's* where Albert Crusat went... (c) Paddy Patterson
It's only taken us 104 episodes, but Progress With Unity have finally coaxed an away supporter into the cauldron that is Studio PWU! Boltonian Stu is joined by Wiganer Adam and the regular panellists to discuss Owen Coyle, Coyle, Krispy Coyle and Owen... and you'll be very pleased to hear it is not the Michael variety.
Get ready for fireworks! Quite literally, since we couldn't get them to stop letting them off while we were recording. Oh well, at least you'll have something other than us to listen to when the conversation inevitably drifts towards matters non-football. Not that we ever let that happen, oooh nooo.
Around the table this week: Barry, Gareth, Adam, Rob, Mick, Dan and Stu

Progress With Unity Podcast #100: Wolves review, Q&A with PWU
The tea party is on hold for now!
Something something Wolves, something something Marc-Antoine Fortune, mumble mumble internationals.
Now, I know what you're thinking: "That was a relatively low key 100th episode considering last week's big build up (although admittedly only on certain fan blogs) - where's the big celebration?"
Well, 7.00pm on Wednesday 15th October is the date for your diary. On that evening, PWU shall be holding its first open forum, and we want you to come on down to the Beech Hill Book Cycle and pose questions to the panel. Ooh, exciting, eh?
But that's not all! We're working hard to collar some special guests, whom you can find more about on the Latics fansite newswires in the coming days. And I promise it won't just be me pretending to be Paul Scharner again... maybe.
Around the rather fancy table this week: Barry, Gareth, Greg, Paul, Mick and Dan

Progress With Unity Podcast #92: Reading and Burton Albion reviews, Charlton and Cardiff previews
May these bananas represent Wigan's thus yet unripe team.
You join us smack bang in the middle of a Latics partybus tour! From Burton, we now head on down to London then Cardiff on our summer tour of the country, so care to join us? We're aiming to test out the pies of each and every motorway burger stand en route... and there's some football in there as well, I think. I dunno, the Progress With Unity team usually deal with that sort of thing - I'm just the (poor) copywriter.

Progress With Unity Podcast #80: Ipswich and Yeovil reviews, Watford and QPR previews
Uh oh, is that the Latics emergency ambulance approaching? I wonder who's on the club doctor's ever-growing waiting list this week - perhaps one of the many supporters wounded by wayward shots? Perhaps Uwe hurt his foot kicking the changing room wall after a last-minute goal from Yeovil robbed Latics of a ninth straight victory? And will I ever end a sentence without a question mark? Answer: nope.
