Not the best performance away at Hillsborough on Tuesday, we missed Will Keane, couldn't get our formation right and were very disjointed from start to finish, one of those nights, but we still sit 2nd in the table with four games in hand on all the teams chasing us, not a bad place to be and I'm positive that supporters of all the clubs below us would take our predicament in a heart beat.
Topsey the cat made an entrance and hit the headlines as the Latics treated her with the 'Kerr' that she needed and Jason Kerr helped the injured feline off the pitch and into the arms of a steward.
Charlton Athletic on Saturday is the first of two home games in four days as the Latics look to cement their place in the automatic promotion spots. The Addicks have been in good form of late and it will be another stern test, but these are the games that we need to be picking up points in and an exciting encounter is in store.
Up the tics!
