Progress With Unity Podcast #173: QPR review, transfer deadline day

Wigan Athletic v Queens Park Rangers: an exercise in splitting the happy clappers from the doom mongers; a Floydian exercise in sturdy defensive sensibilities; an exercise in Caldwellian (im)patience.

Transfer Deadline Day: an exercise in extreme showmanship; an exercise in dodgy ties and even dodgier haircuts; an exercise in glorification of the utterly mundane (raises hand).

International break: An exercise in having to spend your Saturday making up silly rumours to amuse yourself; an exercise in wondering why Alex Witsel wants Marouane Fellaini's haircut.

PWU: An exercise in futility?

Progress With Unity Podcast #54: Leicester preview

Welcome back to the Progress With Unity Podcast. I trust you all had a good week's rest ahead of the return of domestic football this Saturday. Actually there *has* been football but *I* chose not to watch it because I value my free time... Ooh, too harsh? Well, after seeing 'highlights' of the England game, probably not.

This edition covers the forthcoming Leicester game plus a look back on the Wigan 10k, attended by Emmerson Boyce et al.

Around the table this week: Barry, Greg, Gareth, Mick, Rob, Paul T and Dan.

PS. Whoever correctly guesses next week's farmyard animal wins a prize! Answers on a postcard...
