Latics are back at the Brick Community Stadium on Saturday, National League South club, Hemel Hempstead Town are the visitors for what is a romantic FA Cup 1st round tie, the referee for the game will be Feartherstone official, Aaron Bannister.
Banister, who is a Rugby League fan and Featherstone Rovers season ticket holder, graduated to the National List for the start of last season having spent the previous two campaigns serving his apprentice in the National League and National League North.
Of Bannister’s 12 games so far this campaign, 4 have come in League Two, 3 in the National League, 2 in League One and 1 each in the EFL Trophy, EFL Cup and Premier League 2.
