The new season is upon us and we start the campaign off with a home tie on Saturday, Charlton Athletic are the visitors to the Brick Community Stadium for a 5:30pm kick off, the referee for the game will be Gateshead official, Adam Herczeg.

The 29 year old was promoted to the National List for the start of the 2022/23 season and in the 18 months that have followed, Herczeg has taken charge of 47 games, issuing a total of 140 yellow cards, 3 reds and he's awarded 8 penalties.
Previous Games
Adam Herczeg has been in charge of two Latics games previously, both coming last campaign, back in September, our 2:1 win over Cambridge United at the DW Stadium, awarding 22 free kicks in the match and booking both Omar Rekik and Baba Adeeko and the ‘historic’ game against Wycombe Wanderers back in January, Herczeg was substituted in teh 2nd half following a collision with two players, Charlie Hughes scoring in the 119th minute to win us the game.
This will be Herczeg’s first Charlton Athletic game.
