Latics travel down to the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday to face Burton Albion in a real relegation tussle, both clubs desperate for the points to climb out of the drop zone in League One.
Since Burton gained promotion top the Football League our two clubs have only met on five occasions, with the Brewers having the best of those five encounters.
Memorable Game
The last time we met, January 2017, was in another relegation battle at the Pirelli, that time the fight was to stay in the Championship.
As the teams were announced, Latics fans were left scratching their heads at the inclusion of number 29, Callum Connolly, the young Everton loanee only signed that morning but left his mark on the game with two headed goals to give the Latics a two nil win on the afternoon.
