This will be the 36 year olds 3rd Latics game, the other two both coming in season 2017/18.
The self employed builder is aiming to become a full time ref and get “all the way to the Premier League”, unfortunately in his five seasons so far, Brett has found himself alternating between Leagues 1 & 2.
Of Huxtable’s 21 games so far this campaign, 8 have come in League 1, 8 at League 2, 3 in the EFL Trophy and 1 each in the FA & EFL Cups.
Brett Huxtable’s last game was on the 16 January, a League 2 fixture, Leyton Orient 2:0 Morecambe, issuing three yellow cards.
