Latics face Birmingham City at the DW Stadium on Saturday, the referee for the game will be Staffordshire official, Steve Martin.

Martin was promoted to the EFL at the start of the 2012/13 season and he
is now in his 10th campaign. Promoted to the Select Group 2 body of
referees just one season later.
A veteran of 418 games, Steve Martin has issued 1029 yellow and 44 red
cards, pointing to the penalty spot on 96 occasions.

Steve Martin has refereed the Latics 16 times previously, the last time
was our 2:0 defeat away at Coventry in November, Leam Richardson's last game in charge of the Latics.
So far this season Martin has had one Birmingham game, their 0:1 home defeat against Hull on the 30th December.
