Latics are back in League One action on Saturday following the international break, early doors pacesetters, Cambridge United, are in town for the fixture, with Gateshead official, Adam Herczeg in charge of the game.

The 29 year old has only been on the National List one season. So far this campaign he has been in charge of 5 games, in one of those, Oxford v Charlton he issued 9 (nine) yellow cards.

Adam Herczeg hasn’t previously refereed either the Latics or Cambridge United.
Herczeg’s last game came on the 2nd September, a League Two clash between Grimsby and Gillingham that ended 2:0 to the Fish people and just one yellow card was issued.
