Latics face Stockport County in the Bristol Street Motors EFL Trophy at the DW Stadium on Wednesday evening, the referee for the game will be Berkshire official, Sunny Singh Gill.

Gill was promoted to the National List of ref’s at the start of the 2022/23 season, in doing so he followed in the footsteps of his dad, Jarnail Singh who was a veteran of 200 games across the EFL from 2004 until he hung up his whistle in 2010.
