We are back with a preview of the season opener against local rivals Preston North End, a bumper crowd expected for what will hopefully be a cracking game of football.
It doesn't feel four months since we were lifting the League One trophy at Shrewsbury, the new campaign comes round quickly.
The aim for this season must be survival and consolidation and for me a mid-table finish isn't out of the question, we have some excellent players in the squad and they all know each other well, there's no reason why we can't hit the ground running and get some points on the board early doors.

Whatever happens, this is pour club and we will always be here for it.

Up the tics!
