Progress With Unity Podcast #68: Maribor, Bolton & Sheffield Wednesday reviews, Reading preview
This is the last 'proper' PWU Podcast of 2013, so feast your eyes (well, ears) on a calorie-filled pre-Xmas dinner consisting of Bolton mashed potatoes, Maribor sprouts, Sheffield Wednesday wine and Reading pudding. Plus: stories about hats! It's a must-listen...

Progress With Unity Podcast #67: Millwall review, Maribor & Bolton previews
Progress With Unity welcomes you, and indeed Uwe! Phew, I think I've worked some of that out of my system... wait, who am I kidding? PWU listeners can look forward to many more farmyard animal jokes, as long as they aren't consigned to the overflowing trash can of deleted content. Quick, hide that bin before Denis Norden pilfers it!

Progress With Unity Podcast #66: Coyle post-mortem; Leeds, Derby and Zulte reviews
We're normally a reserved bunch on the PWU Podcast, at least when it comes to criticising our own manager. But all professional integrity is banished as Owen 'Predictable' Coyle gets a terrible 'baller king', as that BBC Leeds commentator said on Five Live Sports Extra the other night.
This one's a must-listen as things get a might fractious...

Progress With Unity Podcast #64: International roundup, Brighton preview
With a whopping eight participants, the PWU podcast is not short of banter in a supposedly 'fallow' period of Latics action. You see, there are international appearances to mull over and loan transfers to preview as well as the usual stuff including StatMan and RefWatch. And don't forget the forthcoming Brighton game!

Progress With Unity Podcast #63: Rubin Kazan and Yeovil reviews
What's this, a happy Progress With Unity team?! This is unheard of, Jeff. First goal away from home in 14 (FOURTEEN) hours of football and the prospect of a relaxing international break to come? Yes please, Jeff.
Okay, I'll stop calling you Jeff now, Bob.

Progress With Unity Podcast #62: Huddersfield review, Rubin Kazan and Yeovil previews
Does it seem cold to you? I'll go and put the heating on while you load up the latest edition of the Progress With Unity Podcast, full of the usual nonsense such as refereeing incompetence and Owen Coyle's choice of shorts. And if that sounds par for the 'cast, believe me... well, it is. Hmm.

Progress With Unity Podcast #61: Ed Jones Interview Special
It's interview time again! Somehow, the Progress With Unity Podcast has managed to con Wigan Athletic Head of Media Ed Jones into participating in an informal chat about setting cars afire, Peppa Pig and househunting with Svetoslav Todorov. Really.

Progress With Unity Podcast #60: Blackpool review, Rubin Kazan and Charlton previews
Following a less-than-satisfactory day by the seaside, the Progress With Unity Podcast team bemoan their inability to rent a donkey on Blackpool beach before powering through a couple of high profile match previews. Or so the final edit would suggest... if you ever attend one of our recording sessions, you'll know it's a lot more chaotic than that.
Ne'er mind, for Europe beckons once more. To the DW- er, Wigan Athletic Stadium!

Progress With Unity Podcast #59: International break review, Blackpool preview
The bright lights of the big ci- erm, town beckon for Wigan Athletic and her followers. The majestic northern seaside resort of Blackpool conjures nostalgic memories of donkeys and rollercoaster rides... and that's just the football. Heh, see what I did there? I hope you did otherwise I'm not doing my job correctly. Just fuhgeddit and listen to this week's 'cast...

Progress With Unity Podcast #58: Maribor and Blackburn reviews
It isn't often Latics win two games in a row, so savour this edition! I only wish they sold such things in jars, though admittedly the debate wouldn't be half as good if you're winning every game. Here's to many more... losses, I suppose.
Around the table this week: Barry, Rob, Gareth, Greg, Paul T, Dan

Progress With Unity Podcast #57: Watford review, Maribor and Blackburn previews
A world record nine participants are in Beech Hill Book Cycle to preview another historic match in the history of Wigan Athletic FC. Talk of fluctuating results is quickly brushed aside as the prospect of two big home games looms large. Can't wait.

Progress With Unity Podcast #56: Zulte Waregem, Ipswich and Man City reviews; Watford preview
An extremely busy week for the Progress With Unity Podcast regulars has seen them clock up a combined total of almost four miles. I'm not sure what happened to the other 500 or so, probably still riding around aimlessly on one of those 2 Euro Bruges buses.
Back in the croissant-less U.S. of K, Wigan's equally arduous trip to Robin Park was sweetened by an unexpected 2-0 victory. We shall gloss over the performance, and indeed the glorified friendly at the COMS on Tuesday evening in favour of an in-depth look at this weekend's contest with Watford.
In Beech Hill Book Cycle this week: Barry, Rob, Gareth, Dan, Paul K, Greg, Paul T and Mick.

Good, because Wigan Athletic's mission to Europa begins this week, and the Progress With Unity team --and Belgian correspondent Bart Lagae-- are on hand to discuss how utterly exciting the whole thing is. Progress With Unity Podcast #54: Leicester preview
Welcome back to the Progress With Unity Podcast. I trust you all had a good week's rest ahead of the return of domestic football this Saturday. Actually there *has* been football but *I* chose not to watch it because I value my free time... Ooh, too harsh? Well, after seeing 'highlights' of the England game, probably not.
This edition covers the forthcoming Leicester game plus a look back on the Wigan 10k, attended by Emmerson Boyce et al.
Around the table this week: Barry, Greg, Gareth, Mick, Rob, Paul T and Dan.
PS. Whoever correctly guesses next week's farmyard animal wins a prize! Answers on a postcard...

Progress With Unity Podcast #53: Nottingham Forest review, transfer deadline day
The Progress With Unity team bid a fond farewell to James McCarthy, who this week joined the flock down the road at Everton. Forest is also on the agenda, and the quality of Football League referees is called into question again... wait, didn't I write the exact same thing last week? This is indeed a worrying theme. :P

Progress With Unity Podcast #51: Bournemouth review, Middlesbrough preview
By popular demand, a bite sized edition awaits the Progress With Unity Wigan Athletic Podcast fanatic this week. On location once more, we report live from the South Stand Bar and the Boston Stand, which may or may not be the one pictured above. I dunno, I'm usually watching the match rather than the terraces.
Background noise isn't necessarily a problem, though that depends on your fondness for the music of Jackie Wilson.
In the South Stand Bar this week: Barry, Gareth, Rob and Dan.
Also, please don't kill me for posting a rugby picture. Kill me for continually fluffing my lines and feigning coherence for nigh on a year now.

Progress With Unity Podcast #50: Man United review, Bournemouth and Doncaster preview
Hmm, did something happen at the weekend? Oh right, there was some friendly or other at Wembley. I forgot because by and large Wigan forgot to bring along their game with the Thermos and four pack of cucumber sandwiches.
But the Progress With Unity Wigan Athletic Podcast team aren't here to dwell on past inglories. Two tough Championship games in the form of Bournemouth and Doncaster beckon, so this certainly is no time to start sulking. To the bananamobile!

Progress With Unity Podcast #48: Pre-season review, Barnsley preview
Roberto who? Oh dangit, I've blown it already. But give it a few weeks and we'll have all erased the spectre of last season's relegation from our minds... or be calling for Owen (Columba) Coyle's head. See, it's all rather exciting again, isn't it?
Barnsley await on Saturday - what will happen? I don't think even Derek Acorah knows.

Progress With Unity Podcast #47: Summer Seaside Special
The departure of Roberto Martinez will naturally signal a mass exodus, which the Progress With Unity Wigan Athletic Podcast team are back to look forward to. Apprehension undoubtedly abounds. Fear not, however, for there is the prospect of a new, Owen Coyle-led era in the history of the club. Yay!

Progress With Unity Podcast #46: Villa, season review
Following a season of extreme pleasure and pain, the Progress With Unity Wigan Athletic Podcast team collect at the place where it all started, Sharpy's Fish and Chip Restaurant, to reminisce over ten months of madness. The obligatory end of season awards form the bulk of this week's offering, which looks back on a successful season for this humble small town club.

Progress With Unity Podcast #45: Arsenal and Cup Final review, Villa preview
Well, I never. How on earth did that happen? Not the relegation but Latics winning the FA Cup. I am lost for words to describe this past weekend, and not just because my voice has completely disappeared. Instead of detailing the minutiae of the afternoon, I shall pass you over to a delighted PWU team...

Progress With Unity Podcast #44: FA Cup Final Special
It's almost here, the day we've been waiting for since 1932. On Saturday we shall witness Little Wigan's first FA Cup Final at the birthplace of football (maybe), Wemberlee Stadium. Millwall was the aperitif, but this weekend sees the beef 'n' chips main course of legend.
Mumble mumble Swansea mumble... and don't forget the FA Cup Final! Did I mention Wigan are in the FA Cup Final?

Progress With Unity Podcast #43: Tottenham review, West Brom and Swansea preview
Now this is what Greg calls a sticky situation. But in the true spirit of survival campaigns past, we must summon the blind belief to keep Wigan Athletic in the race for a 2013-14 Premier League place. The Progress With Unity Wigan Athletic Podcast team are on hand to decide whether this could really be the end of Latics' Premier League adventure... for the time being, at least. Hold on to your respective headwear! *Pulls at collar uncomfortably*

Progress With Unity Podcast #39 - Norwich review, QPR preview
A rather chirpy edition of the Progress With Unity Wigan Athletic Podcast this week, in more ways than one. But enough potentially tenuous canary puns and on to business as usual before the inevitable pre-Wembley madness that's bound to escalate in the coming days. Among the burning questions: would a Latics win end QPR's fight for survival?

Progress With Unity Podcast #29 - Sunderland review, Macclesfield and Stoke preview
A slightly depleted Progress With Unity Podcast contingent this week, but as ever there's much to discuss. Inescapable negativity abounds, following the disappointing defeat to Sunderland on Saturday.
Cynicism surrounding the Premier League's financial hierarchy is quickly subdued by the thought of a potentially magical FA Cup away day at Macclesfield this weekend.
But of course, we just *had* to deliver a healthy dose of realism in our preview for the forthcoming clash with Stoke. Sigh...
