Progress With Unity Podcast #61: Ed Jones Interview Special

It's interview time again! Somehow, the Progress With Unity Podcast has managed to con Wigan Athletic Head of Media Ed Jones into participating in an informal chat about setting cars afire, Peppa Pig and househunting with Svetoslav Todorov. Really.

This week Barry and Dan are out on location at the DW Stadium for a Podcast Special

Our Podcasters meet up with Wigan Athletic media manager Ed Jones for an informal chat about the current season, what being a football club media manager is all about and the problems of meeting UEFA's strict branding regulations on Europa League nights

Ed also gives us an insight into looking after the players off the field and shares with us some classic stories

There is a look back at Sundays draw at Charlton and a look forward to the QPR game (Ed's first love!)

From 1990 to 1994 Ed Jones was the bass player and vocalist with Wigan Indie band The Tansads, they enjoyed success on gig all other the north of England and had minor chart success with their album and single releases, I asked Ed to choose a Tansads song for us to finish off the podcast with, without hesitation he said - Up The Revolution

Progress With Unity Podcast #60: Blackpool review, Rubin Kazan and Charlton previews

Following a less-than-satisfactory day by the seaside, the Progress With Unity Podcast team bemoan their inability to rent a donkey on Blackpool beach before powering through a couple of high profile match previews. Or so the final edit would suggest... if you ever attend one of our recording sessions, you'll know it's a lot more chaotic than that.

Ne'er mind, for Europe beckons once more. To the DW- er, Wigan Athletic Stadium!

In the studio this week: Barry, Gareth, Rob, Paul T and Dan

Progress With Unity Podcast #58: Maribor and Blackburn reviews

It isn't often Latics win two games in a row, so savour this edition! I only wish they sold such things in jars, though admittedly the debate wouldn't be half as good if you're winning every game. Here's to many more... losses, I suppose.

Around the table this week: Barry, Rob, Gareth, Greg, Paul T, Dan
