Meet The Ref - Latics v Mansfield Town

Latics are back at the Brick on Tuesday, Mansfield Town will be making the trip over from Nottinghamshire for a rearranged League One fixture, due to the international break, the referee for the game is scheduled to be Poulton-le-Fylde official, Scott Oldham.

The 43-year-old broke onto the National List for the start of the 2017/18 season; his first game was a League 2 encounter between Cheltenham and Crawley which finished 1:0 to the home side

This will be Scott Oldham’s tenth Latics game, his first was in our administration season, Plymouth Argyle the opponents, that ended in a 1:1 home draw, Curtis Tilt finding his way into the notebook, both sides picking up a booking and a goal apiece. Will Keane coming off the bench to grab a 69th minute equaliser for us.

Oldham’s last Latics game came back in March this year, that too was a home fixture against Plymouth, that ended with a three-nil defeat at the hands of the Devon side.

Scott Oldham’s last game in charge of a Mansfield fixture also came in March, a goalless away draw at Rotherham United, Stags defender, Elliott Hewitt finding his way into the book.
