Any Previous? - Hull City v Latics

There have been 28 meetings between the Latics and Hull City down the years.

The first meeting came in the 1981/82 when we gained our first ever promotion as a Football League side, we did the double of them that campaign winning 0:2 at Boothery Park and 2:1 in the return fixture at Springfield Park.

Our last meeting came in the League Cup last season, fresh out of administration and with virtually a brand new team, League One Latics went to Championship club Hull and gave us a taste of what was about to come over the coming months.

Stevie Humphrys gave us the lead on 50 minutes only for Keane Lewis-Potter to equalise 5 minutes later, the game went to penalties with the Latics going through 8-7 in the shoot-out.
